TM: Vengeance of the Indomitable and Crazed Shades

Chapter 35: Incurably crazy

"Uhm... Then... Mom..."

"Hm? Yes, what is it?"

"With this, I learned to use your unique ability too, right?"

"..."

"I can go out now, right?"

"..."

"Mom?"

"..." Elah didn't speak, not because she couldn't, but because she didn't find a reason or anything to stop him from going away.

"Oh, great timing!" Xalier, standing a little further away, listened to them in silence, but immediately called out as he sensed a disturbance in the energy around the forest.

"...?" Antanasia, who was a few steps away looked at him with curious eyes.

And feeling her questioning gaze, Xalier turned to her and fulfilled her expectation. "Yes, your sister is here."

"Hm? You see Mom even An needs to go out. I can go with her right now." Hearing his father's words, Temorsth brought up even more reasons just so his mother wouldn't change her words.

"You again!"

"Ugh, sorry..." Xalier stepped back from Elah's glare and loud roar.

*Kham* "What, you want to go right now? Baby, don't you need some preparation?" As she looked back at her son, she changed her tone back.

"Mom, the sooner I go, the sooner I'll be back."

"..." Since Elah didn't want to argue with her son, she didn't speak more, but her eyes showed her disapproval.

"Husband..." This time she turned to Xalier with her soft voice.

"My love, you too know it's best to let children discover what they want. If we break their enthusiasm, they might lose their driving force."

"Ahhhg, what did I expect from you!?" As Elah dismissed Xalier, she looked back at Temorsth with a sigh.

"Baby, it's dangerous and..."

"Mom, I'll be back in a few months at most." Temorsth interrupted her with the intention to calm her down, but when he saw his mother's face darken he realized his mistake.

"Few months..." The problem was that Elah didn't want to lose sight of her son for so long, it was painful enough to do it once.

"Don't think of it as me going away, think of it as some time off with Dad, you two can do whatever you want for those few months."

"..."

"Mom, don't worry nothing will happen An will be with me too." Seeing that Elah still hesitated, Temorsth tried to find even more insurance that would calm her.

"..."

"My love, nothing will happen." Xalier, who had just arrived at Elah's side, put a hand on her shoulder.

"Clam down and think it through without emotions speaking from you, there is little chance of anyone of our races being there and others... they don't really matter to anything."

"..."

"Mom, please..."

*Sigh* "Alright, I already promised it. I can't go back on my word before my little Baby."

"Yey! Thanks, Mom! I love you!" Temorsth jumped into his mother's embrace.

"Mommy loves you too, Sweetie!"

"Oh, right! Son, take this!" A second later, Xalier remembered something and took out a ring that looked exactly like the ones he and Elah wore on their index fingers.

"This?" Receiving into his hand, Temorsth examined it.

"It's a space ring, you already know it's a simple portable storage. I have put some recovery and mana potions in it, and it has food and clothes too."

"Thanks, Dad!" As Temorsth looked into the ring, he understood in an instant that this wasn't prepared in a hast.

'Dad, already prepared for this beforehand...' It was an insanely good feeling knowing his father already expected his success.

"Baby..." And seeing the joy and enthusiasm on Temorsth's face, Elah's heart squeezed. She still didn't want to let him go, but now her determination got firmer that she made the right choice.

"Oh, it fits perfectly..." As Temorsth placed the silver ring on his right index finger, it adjusted its size to fit it.

"You two are heading to Grim Rock Woods, do you know where that is?" Xalier turned to Antanasia and asked.

"Yes... but my sister..."

"Don't worry we will go there first." It was Temorsth who calmed her mind which was thinking that she was forgotten.

"Uhm...thanks."

"Oh, I almost forgot..." Temorsth turned towards the tree where his spear was put down.

"If I just think of it..." Since he was Attuned to the Heart Wood Spear it counted like he was always holding it in his hand making it possible to use the space ring on it from a distance.

"Can we go then? " As the spear vanished from getting placed in the ring, Temorsth turned back to look at Antanasia.

"Yes, I have nothing to prepare."

"Alright! Then... Mom, Dad I love you both!" Temorsth went to his parents for a goodbye hug.

"Baby, if anything... if there is anything you feel is dangerous please come back home." While Elah squeezed Temorsth, she told him the last reminders.

"And don't forget, if you meet someone from either the elves or vampires... don't talk to them... if it is needed silence them. No matter the cost you have to stay unknown, understood?"

"I understand. Mom, you needn't worry."

"Good. And you..." This time Elah turned to Antanasia. "Do you understand what I just said? No matter what, don't let any vampire or elf realize who he is! If someone does you will be the one responsible for it!"

"I understand. No matter the cost, I will protect my lord."

"Alright..." *sigh*

"Have a nice trip!" Hearing his wife's sigh, Xalier wanted to hasten the pace.

"Dad, spoil Mom while I'm away."

"I'll do."

"Baby..."

'Run, Son, before she changes her mind!'

"Take care." Hearing his father's words in his mind, Temorsth grabbed Antanasia's hand and started running to the barrier.

When Antanasia and Temorsth arrived before the barrier, he turned and waved goodbye to his parents, seeing both his mother and father smiling back at him.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen." With a smile on his face, Xalier grabbed Elah's waist and waved back.

"Yes, nothing will happen, because if something does, I will make it so you won't have any more children." She smiled and waved with a kind and warm voice, but what she said was cold and harsh.

'Son... protect your future siblings!' With a slightly broken smile, Xalier spoke to himself in a low voice.

"Now!" When Temorsth disappeared from their sight, Xalier grabbed Elah and brought her into the house. This was just a safety measure to make sure Temorsth had siblings.

...

Outside the barrier.

"Wow! The world... It is different from what I have expected." It was his first time outside. When he first came to this world he couldn't see anything of it except for that battlefield and even when the barrier broke he wasn't thinking of looking around but now...

"This world... its beautifully..." The forest around didn't look that much different from a normal one, it didn't look anything magical... if we do not consider their double size magical.

*Inhale* Temorsth took a few deep breaths, and the fresh scent alone gave a sense of freedom, standing below a real sun was invigorating.

As Temorsth looked up at the clear sky, he raised his hand to cover his eyes from the strong light.

"Uh?" A surprised voice sounded but not because of the beautiful light blue sky.

"The sun... there are... two..." His surprise was because his eyes were blinded from two directions, one was a little smaller but he knew there could be nothing as bright as the sun.

"You didn't know?"

"Hm? Oh, I didn't really ask my parents since they didn't like it when I talked about 'outside'."

"Hm... then I suppose you don't know that there are five moons, right?"

"Five... Five moons?"

"Yes, and all of them have different colors too."

"This..." Temorsth quickly changed his speech to an internal one.

'This world is really different... but I quite like it, my old one was already getting destroyed by humans so this beautiful one is a big relief.' Temorsth was referring to humans like he wasn't one and the thing was that he wasn't one anymore.

"Did you get the location of your sister?" After getting enough of his 'new' world's view, he turned back to An.

"Yes, your dad give me the exact one through a Divine Massage."

"Cool, then we should move?"

"Uhm? Why are you walking? Aren't we going to fly?"

"Hm? I can't fly."

"I'll take you." With the words, Antanasia's energy appeared around the both of them.

"Oh... this is much easier."

"Don't get surprised..." Feeling that her energy completely enveloped them, she jumped up into the air with light words of warning.

"UH!" The jump gave a big shock to Temorsth.

"We are fast..."

"Yes, we will be there in a minute."

"Oh..." Hearing this dejected Temrosth a little since he wanted to look around. 'It isn't a long time... I will see the world soon, anyway.'

...

And not even a minute late.

"Sis!" Since Katarina notice her sister's aura, she flew toward them at full speed.

"Uh? Hey, slow...!" Antanasia halted and tried to warn, but it was already too late.

*Bang* As the sisters crash into each other, their energy exploded in the form of smoke.

"Missed these so much!" When the smoke went away, Katarina was already rubbing her cheeks between Antanasia's big melons.

"You! Where are you touching!?"

'I see... she is a woman of culture... But it's the same for me too, if I didn't see those big melons for a long time, I would miss them.'

"Let me go!"

"Uhhh... I don't wanna!"

"Tell me, did something happen to you? Did you cause trouble?" As An pushed Katarina away, she started asking questions.

"What? Of course not, why would I cause trouble?"

"Really?"

"Affirmative!"

"Alright, I believe in you."

'The King didn't say anything... good. I would be in a lot of trouble if she learned I fought someone so much stronger.'

"Right! I was put into the Royal Army."

"What!? A mercenary as a soldier?"

"Right right, I was shocked too." As they descend to the ground, the sisters started their reunion chat while Temorsth thought about something that many men dreamt of.

'I need to get them both... A beautiful sister duo...'

...

"So everything worked out fine in the end?"

"Yes, it did... Hm... Sis... who is this handsome fellow behind you?" As they finally arrived at the end of their conversation, Katarina noticed Temorsth's gaze.

"Uh... he is..."

"She stole me from my parents..."

"What!?"

"No, don't believe him! What are you even speaking about!?"

"She... she even forces me to sleep in the same bed as her..."

"No, don't say bullshit like that!"

"Sis... I would never have thought..."

"No, he is just framing me!"

"Now I understand why you never conceded even though I brought so many fine men."

"...?"

"You could have told me that you were into children all this while."

"No!!! This little thing is lying, he is my Master!"

"Uh, Master?"

"Yes! This little shit...!"

"Then how can you speak about him like this, if he is your Master?"

"That... its..."

*sob*

"Uh!?"

"Look, now you even scared him."

"I scared him!?"

*sob*

"Hey, don't yell! You will frighten him even more. Don't cry cutie big sis is here." Katarina went to Temorsth and kneeled down before him.

'This little fucker was walking even when his body was breaking down... If he was someone as strong as me, I would be the one who shit myself while running for my life, how the hell would I scare him!?'

*sob*sob*

"Don't get scared of that old lady, only her chest grew big while her brain stayed the same, she is just stupid."

"Old lady... stupid...?"

"She is a bad sis..." *Sob...sob* "...she... she even lay on me when I woke up today."

"What!? Sis, you were already doing it?"

"..." At this moment Antanasia gave up the resistance.

"Sis, how can you be so evil to use a sleeping child?" As Katarina turned away from Temorsth, she whispered to Antanasia. "...use him while he is awake..."

"You are incurably crazy now."

'Even though she is much smaller... I like this girl too.'
