Torn between the Lycan Kings; She is my Omega

Chapter 4: A useless wolf

Aria

I swing my legs as I sit on my chair, my thoughts racing back to him now and then. He is perfect, I know he is. He might claim to be different, but I am not shaken at all.

A knock on the door interrupts my flow of thoughts. I suck my lips, thinking it must be my father.

"He only comes here, at very odd times," I mumble.

I reach the door, turn the door knob revealing Ronan? My face immediately reddens, I can feel steam coming out of my ears.

"What are you doing here?" I manage to keep myself calm.

I refuse he sees me as a weakling.

"Aria, we need to talk," he swallows hard, lowering his gaze.

"We do ? What about?" I cross my hands over my chest.

He looks around, before finally facing me, "Can I come in? I do not want any passerby listening to our conversation."

I want to refuse, I want to leap at him, plug my fingers into his ears, yelling at his face, that I do not need him anymore, but instead I respond with a "Yes."

His eyes light up, then he takes some steps forward. I step aside to let him in. He goes over to sit on a chair.

"So, out with it. I do not have all the time in the world," I shrug.

"Aria, please it is not what it looks like, trust me. I swear I do not know what came over me."

"Of course, you do not. Why would you when a male Omega is busy hitting deep into you?" A sneer appear on my face.

He looks really embarrassed, "Actually, it was just a one-time thing, he is not even my mate."

I look away, resting against the half open door. I can not leave it closed, who knows what this creep will do to me?

"That is your business Ronan, I do not care. I am no longer your mate. You should go find another weak omega male, but this time you should be the one giving back shots," a knowing smirk spread across my face.

He clasps his hands together, "Stop saying things like that," his face is now bright red with embarrassment, "You have to take me back," he pouts.

I feel like throwing up. Damn it.

I ball my hands into fists, "I can see you do not have anything good to say. You should leave," I force a smile on my face, "Now get out please."

He immediately stands up, closing the gap between us, "No! I am having none of that! You are going to accept me back whether or not you like it!" He grabs my hand.

"Stop this foolishness! I do not want you anymore," I try to free myself from his grip, but he has grown surprisingly strong!

"Ronan! Let go of me!" I yell, my heart pounding against my rib cage.

"Take me back Aria Moonwhispher!" He yells pulling at the back of my hair.

I grit my teeth, immediately kicking him hard in his loins, "Do not touch me!" I scratch mercilessly at his face, then push him away.

"I knew it! You were up to no good!" I wipe my face, darting my eyes around looking for something to defend myself with in case he wants to get at me again."

There's suddenly this blazing madness in his eyes, "What is wrong with you? You were the one who decided to cheat on me!"

"I did it because you would not give me what I wanted!" He lashes back at me.

Of course, I refused any of his advances, I thought of giving it to him at our mating night.

"Tsk, is that why you decided to go some punk? Oh well," I roll my eyes, taking steps backwards.

"You are coming back to me Aria, I do not care whatever you say about it," he grits his teeth charging at me again.

I block my face with my hands expecting the attack.

I wait.. it does not come.

I slowly whip my head up to see Ronan getting choked almost to death by my father.

"Father!" I breathe a sigh of relief, "You came!"

Never have I been so relieved to see my father in the last ten years. I hold my chest with my left hand, breathing a sigh of relief.

"She has already rejected you, I do not want to see you around her, or even her shadow again," his grip on Ronan's neck tightens until his poor face is blue.

He finally lets go of him, leaving Ronan scamping for the door, before he finally gets out.

I breathe another sigh of relief, "Thank you father!"

He tilts his head to look at me, "You let your ex mate in, then you think everything will go fine? Tsk."

I bite my lower lip, "He just wanted to talk," I try to defend myself.

His face contorts, "Are you listening to yourself right now? He just wanted to talk, shooting himself deep into you of course, you just had to have a loser as a mate," he sneers, brushing past me into the inner rooms.

My jaw drops as he says those words, brushing past me. His words hurt me again, but I swallow them in. He is right, my mate just had to be a loser."

I can not bear the effect of his words on him at that moment, so I run out of the house.

Why does everything have to be my fault? I was just born into this pack with a weak wolf, how did I contribute to my birth now?!

I run far away from there, heading somewhere I can not quite tell. Anytime I pass a fellow Omega, they shake their head, distancing themselves from me.

Curse them all! I am going to show them one day!

I decide to ignore their heart-wrenching looks, focusing on my unknown journey at hand.

I run till I reach a lonely path that no one hardly passes. I drag my feet to a dry stump then sit on it. I palm my face.

"Damn you all! Damn every single one of you!" I finally let out, not caring if anyone hears it. They can not see me anyway.

"Now why would my sweet little thing

want to reject everyone?"
