Who Is the World’s Strongest Appraiser? ~Living in Another World With Satisfying Meals~

Chapter 55.2

Boyish Girl Can Be Charming Too

Lifa timidly put on the earrings handed to her by Yuuri.

The simple crescent moon earrings sparkled beautifully on her ears.

Even checking in the mirror, there was no problem at all.

Rather, they suited her so well it was almost scary.

It seemed as if the creator had made them specifically for Lifa.

“Oh, Lifa-chan, they suit you well. Right, Yuuri-chan?”

“Yes. It seems like they were made for Lifa-san.”

“N-no way… But I’m wearing the shop’s products now, right…”

Praised by the two, Lifa shyly looked down.

But she soon lifted her head, looked in the mirror, and murmured with deep emotion.

Her soliloquy was filled with the feelings she had been carrying.

Lifa is a serious girl. As a salesgirl, she properly conveys the quality of the products to customers and helps with the family business.

She even talks to the craftsmen who make the products to convey their intentions.

However, she disliked herself for not being able to wear the products and promote them despite being a salesgirl.

A girl at her friend’s clothing store wears the products she handles and does business skillfully.

Every time she saw that, her feelings of inadequacy grew.

“I don’t think accessories have to be for men or women.”

“Yuuri-kun?”

“The important thing is whether they suit you or not.”

“Really?”

“Yes. And there’s a perfect example right here.”

“Yes.”

“Oh…”

When Yuuri pointed it out with a suppressed smile, Leopold waved his hand cheerfully.

This beautiful “onee-san” was the perfect example. Although male in physique, voice, and features, he wore makeup and accessories, running through life as gender-neutral.

And everything suited him beautifully, leaving no room for complaints.

As they parted with a thankful Lifa and walked home, Yuuri asked Leopold a question.

“Why did you bring me here?”

“Oh? Don’t you understand?”

“No. Because of the suggestion I made, you must have thought of it long ago, right?”

Yuuri looked up at Leopold, asking why.

With eyes like a small animal, he stared intently at Leopold.

Smiling warmly, Leopold patted Yuuri’s head before speaking.

“I told her many times. But she didn’t believe me.”

“Why?”

“Because to her, I’m family.”

Yuuri understood. To Lifa, Leopold was a long-time family, so his words sounded like comfort.

When Yuuri first praised Lifa, she took it as comfort too.

Wanting to help her, to show her she was as charming as she was, Leopold brought Yuuri along.

He knew this boy would reach the same conclusion as he did.

Despite their differences, they shared a love for cute and beautiful things.

“Sorry for dragging you out. How about some tea?”

“Let’s go to Lucia’s.”

“Oh, delicious… but will they let us in?”

“If not, we can get it to go.”

“If we get it to go, it might be stolen.”

“No one would steal it.”

Yuuri smiled, and assured no one at Scarlet Lynx’s hideout would take the sweets.

If anything, they’d probably go buy more.

“You’re really loved.”

“Huh?”

“Never mind, just talking to myself.”

Imagining easily, Leopold muttered.

But even he was very sweet to Yuuri, perhaps the sweetest of all.

Lifa’s simple accessories started selling well to female customers, and she smiled proudly as the shop’s poster girl.
