Chapter 52: CH: 52 Talk Out
[Chapter: 52 Talk Out]
William clapped his palms and smiled at Joyce. "Smart, really smart. You can see my reason for being here and the way to the future. It's true that you have put forward both the Transformium and the evolution of humans by fusing the elements with humans. And I'm sure you will definitely try again once more."
"Even if the research results are obtained, humans and Transformium cannot be merged. The human body cannot bear the deformed elements at all. According to theoretical values, only a body that is more than three times the very peak of the human body's limit can actually stay alive and have a possibility of merging," Joyce said with a hint of ridicule, as he didn't believe any such person existed in the world. "So even if you get the results, you won't be able to do anything with it."
"I'm sorry to let you down, but I'm about three times the limit of human beings. I just don't like showing off," William spread his hands.
Joyce's face changed. "It's impossible—three times the limit of human beings? Ha, really, you gotta be kidding me. Do you think I'm an idiot who would believe you after all this?"
"By the way, we have already gone to Lab No. 1. Wembley did a good job, and the integration was not difficult," William said lightly.
"What did you say?" Joyce shouted.
"Ding, ding, you finally got it, but you are quite slow, aren't you?"
"Have you merged the deformation elements?"
"What do you think?"
"I don't believe it! What about Wembley?" Joyce asked loudly.
William looked up at the ceiling, then down at the ground. "Don't know. Maybe relaxing in heaven, or being tortured in hell. Who knows?"
"You—you killed them?" Joyce shouted.
"No, I just allowed them to pass to the next world. They should thank me," William said indifferently.
"You... I... will... What will you do to me?" Joyce stammered.
"Oh, come on now, let's stop with the jokes. You still have your use, so don't worry."
Harold Attinger ran over with a group of agents. "Joyce, we are here."
"Harold, you're here," Joyce said to Harold.
Harold looked at William. "Is that you? I've been looking for you. You're really good. You've caused so much destruction to our men, but we can't even find a trace of you in the system—or anywhere else, for that matter."
"Ha, really? You went so far for little old me? Ha. James isn't here?" William asked. "Is he not coming?"
"No," Harold answered.
"I thought you had fired him. But you still have that kind of scum around, which means you're an idiot that's going to die soon," William laughed.
Harold said gloomily, "You do know that you can't leave this place, right?"
"What's wrong over here?" A woman's voice rang out.
Joyce watched as William's face changed. "My dear rose, how did you get here? It's not very safe here; you should be leaving."
Su Yueming looked around. "I'd like to see if there is anything unsafe and if I can't let anyone come."
"Yo, hello there. How's your sweet lips? I still remember the taste," William smiled at Su Yueming.
Su Yueming then noticed William, who was wearing only pants, with anger flashing in her eyes. "It's you, asshole."
"Lips? What did he do to you?" Joyce asked. After all, he liked Su Yueming, but unfortunately, she never expressed that she liked him.
Su Yueming immediately said, "This is my business. You don't need to care."
"Damn! What did you do to her?" Joyce yelled at William.
"Ding, ding, I told you that you are slow. I have to say everything to you for you to understand. Fine, I'll tell you—it was just that we kissed," William said, putting a finger on his mouth, as if savoring the memory.
"What are you talking about?" Joyce asked gloomily, then looked at Su Yueming. "Is this true?"
Su Yueming was angry, and she rushed toward William, trying to slap him. But before she could...
"My, my, only one person among you has the guts to face me, while the rest of you are just a bunch of pussies," William said, looking at Su Yueming as she charged at him.
Joyce said to Harold, "Harold, go on. Kill him. Don't let him leave alive."
Harold and the agents directed their guns at William. "Fire."
Bang! Bang!
William looked at the trajectories of the bullets and shook his head. "Really? This is really too slow." Then the others only saw William's hand waving, leaving behind a residual image of his movements—too fast, almost as if a dozen hands were moving.
"Stop," Harold called.
Clank! Clank! Clank!
The fragments of the bullets fell to the ground one by one, making a crisp sound.
"How is this possible?" Su Yueming looked on in shock. "Are you even still human?"
"Human? Hmm, why, of course I am. If you're asking, I can even show you that I'm quite good in other areas aside from fighting," William said, winking at her.
"Well!" Su Yueming gave a light sigh.
Joyce was agitated and, in his anger, shouted, "Harold, don't tell me you can't even kill one person," forgetting the fact that William had stopped the bullets barehanded.
"Of course not," Harold said gloomily.
William spread his hands. "Did you finish talking? I'm leaving now since I'm bored."
It wasn't the time to kill people. If the plot ended early, William's villain points wouldn't increase, so there was no need to rush.
"Where do you think you're going?" Su Yueming's hand hit William.
"Come back," Joyce called out, trying to get Su Yueming to step back.
William held Su Yueming's hand. "Hmm. Good strength. From the looks of it, you work out and have good stamina too, which will be useful once I get you. You're a beauty with brains, unlike these muscle heads."
"Fucker!" Su Yueming suddenly raised one foot and kicked at William.
William's arm blocked it. "Girl, it seems you're very interested in me. Since that's the case, how can I let you down? How about I take you with me?"
"Attack," Harold said through the intercom.
Joyce looked toward the obliquely upper glass window. A military helicopter hovered outside KSI's building, and his face changed greatly. "Harold, wait—she's still there!"
Boom!
A missile penetrated the glass, bombarding William with a strong air current.
