Chapter 54: CH: 54 Getting Out

[Chapter: 54 Getting Out]

Su Yueming looked at William and couldn't help but say in shock, "Impossible! You just came back from death. How is that possible?"

"A neat trick, ain't it?" William asked.

The KSI employees watching were completely stunned. "Is this guy still human? He can't even be killed by a missile, and he's just as he was before."

Joyce asked, "You've fused the Transformium with yourself, and you've also gained its regeneration ability?"

"That's right. The deformation elements are now a part of me," William said lightly. His body had been injected with the super soldier serum, which had tripled his original abilities and granted him strong healing capabilities. Adding the fusion of Transformium allowed him to achieve the feat of filling a hole in his chest.

"What's the other part?" Joyce asked eagerly.

"Nothing you need to know." William strode purposefully toward Joyce and Harold, his presence commanding the air around him.

"Shoot! Shoot now!" Harold screamed, panic lacing his voice.

Bang! Bang!

The sound of gunfire echoed in the confined space as agents unloaded their weapons. But William was a blur, moving faster than the human eye could track. Shadows flickered, and bullets tore into walls and ceilings, unable to touch him.

A bloodcurdling scream cut through the chaos. Blood sprayed across the floor as an agent collapsed, his throat slit in an instant. Before anyone could react, William was standing behind Joyce and Harold, his piercing gaze locking onto the agents who turned to retaliate.

"Kill him!" one agent shouted, raising his weapon.

But William moved again—an apparition of speed and precision. He appeared behind the agent in a heartbeat, grabbing him by the neck and hoisting him effortlessly.

Bang! Bang!

The agent's body jerked violently as bullets intended for William riddled him instead. Blood streamed from his chest, and his lifeless body became a shield. With a flick of his wrist, William hurled the corpse like a battering ram into two other agents, sending them crashing into a wall with a sickening crunch. Blood sprayed as their bodies crumpled to the floor.

"Die!" came a roar from behind.

William didn't even turn. His hand shot backward, faster than thought, and caught the barrel of a pistol aimed at his head. With a twist, he wrenched the gun free and spun it around.

The agent froze, wide-eyed, as William drove the muzzle into his mouth.

Bang! Bang!

The gun discharged, the bullets blasting through the agent's neck and spraying crimson against the walls. His body convulsed before collapsing in a heap.

William grinned coldly, the pistol still in his hand. Without missing a beat, he aimed and fired at another agent. The shot was precise, the man's head exploding like a shattered watermelon. Blood and brain matter splattered everywhere, eliciting screams from the remaining agents.

The remaining men tried to regroup, but their movements were sluggish compared to William's unrelenting assault. With calculated ferocity, he weaved through the room like a phantom. Every strike, every move, was methodical—lethal.

A single kick sent one agent flying backward, crashing into a stack of equipment that collapsed onto him. Another agent screamed as William's hand found his arm, snapping it like a twig before finishing him off with a brutal punch to the chest that crushed ribs and pierced his lungs.

Joyce and Harold watched in horror, their faces pale as they saw the agents dropping like flies. Their survival instincts kicked in, and they began to back away, glancing at each other with unspoken fear.

"Where do you think you're going?" William's voice rang out, ice-cold and unyielding.

He appeared in front of them as if conjured by sheer will. His presence froze them in their tracks.

"You… what do you want?" Harold stammered, his voice trembling.

William chuckled, the sound devoid of warmth. "I told you before—I'm here to teach you a lesson. And everyone needs to know what happens when they dare to cross me."

Harold's knees buckled, but William didn't give him a chance to react. In a blur, he grabbed both Joyce and Harold by their necks, lifting them off the ground like ragdolls. They clawed at his hands, their faces turning red as the air was forced from their lungs.

"Uncomfortable, isn't it?" William's tone was icy. "Don't worry. Death will be a merciful end for you."

"P-please!" Joyce choked out, his voice barely audible. "I'll give you… anything… money… anything…"

William smirked, his grip tightening momentarily before he suddenly released Harold, sending him sprawling onto the ground. The man gasped for air, clutching his throat as his eyes darted wildly.

"I was just joking," William said casually, stepping forward and delivering a bone-crushing kick to Harold's ribs.

CRACK!

Harold let out a strangled scream, his body convulsing as the pain consumed him. Blood trickled from his mouth as he curled into a fetal position, unable to move.

Joyce, trembling violently, fell to her knees. "Please! I don't want to die! I'll do anything!"

William leaned down, his cold, calculating gaze boring into her. "Anything?" he repeated, his tone mocking. He abruptly threw her to the ground next to Harold, the impact forcing a yelp from her lips.

Satisfied, he turned and began walking toward Su Yueming, who had been watching the carnage from a distance. His footsteps echoed ominously in the now-silent room. Defiance would be met with unrelenting wrath.

"So," William said, his voice carrying an edge of menace, "care to tell me what you've been up to while I've been away?"

The weight of his words hung in the air, leaving no doubt that further resistance would be futile.

"Yeah, bastard, I will kill you," Harold said, rolling on the ground.

William walked in front of Su Yueming, and she looked at him coldly. "What are you going to do to me?"

"That's what I said, didn't I? I'm going to rob you away." William pulled Su Yueming aside, hugged her, and then carried her on his shoulders, swaggering toward the exit.

"You son of a bitch, let me down!" Su Yueming struggled on William's shoulder, her hands flailing against his back.

"Noisy. Can you stop shouting for a while?" William said to her.

Su Yueming bit William's shoulder. "Ah!" Her teeth hurt like hell, as if she were biting into an iron plate.

"Save your energy. With me, you can only do so much. You can't really hurt me, you know," William said with pride. "In this relationship, you can only be dominated by me."

"Don't even think about it."

William carried Su Yueming out of KSI and looked up at the military helicopter in the sky.

Bang! Bang!

A burst of bullets rained down from the helicopter, firing at William.

William ran fast, reaching a speed of 80 meters per second, which was his extreme speed.

The helicopter followed William, its machine gun firing relentlessly.

"Ha!" William roared, kicking his feet suddenly on the ground. His body leapt more than thirty meters, twisting in the air.

"Ah!" Su Yueming called out. "You lunatic! We are going to die!"

A shield appeared in William's hands in a burst of blue light. William gave a loud shout and threw the shield out.

"Fast! Move away!" the co-pilot of the helicopter yelled.

Boom!

The shield hit the helicopter's propeller, breaking it off completely.

"Aaaaaah!" The helicopter, now without its propeller, spun wildly in the air and plummeted to the ground.

William caught the rebounded shield in his hands and landed on the ground. After skidding across the ground, he came to a halt.

"You lunatic!" Su Yueming lay on William's back, panting.

Boom!

The falling helicopter smashed into a building, causing a violent explosion. The entire building partially collapsed, with flames and debris flying everywhere.

William lit a cigarette, carried Su Yueming, and left without looking back.
