X-GENE OMNITRIX

Chapter 3: XGO CHAPTER 3

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

The alarms screamed.

The scientists panicked.

The sedation wasn't working.

A young scientist stumbled back, staring at the readings on the screen. His voice cracked with fear. "S-Sir, his vitals are surging! His brain activity is—he's waking up!"

The lead scientist turned sharply, his face twisting in disbelief. "What!? That's impossible! He's been chemically restrained for years!"

Another scientist gulped. "Then why is he waking up…?"

For a second, nobody spoke.

Then the lead scientist's expression darkened. "Call the guards. We're strapping him to the table. We need to dissect him and figure out what's happening."

They moved fast. A group of armed guards stormed into the lab, their boots clanking against the steel floor.

But none of them realized…

It was already too late.

Inside the Tank – The Awakening

Pain.

Unbearable. Overwhelming. All-consuming.

Alex's consciousness wasn't just returning—it was being shoved back into reality, dragging every ounce of torture and suffering with it.

Years of experiments. Years of agony.

The injections. The surgeries. The things they had put inside him.

It was all coming back at once.

His vision was blurry, the liquid inside the tank distorting everything. His limbs ached, his skin burned, his entire body felt wrong.

Then—

A cold click.

A watch materialized from within his very soul, emerging from his wrist as if it had always been a part of him.

The scientists froze.

One of them stumbled back, eyes wide with horror. "T-The specimen… h-he's manifesting a device!"

Another scientist's face twisted in disbelief. "That's impossible! It came from inside his body! How—!?"

Alex's vision snapped to them.

He saw their fear.

It made something primal stir inside him.

Something predatory.

Then, a cold, mechanical voice echoed from the watch.

"User DNA damaged. Initiating repair."

The entire lab went silent.

Then—

Alex's entire body started glowing.

The scientists screamed. "CALL THE GUARDS! RESTRAIN HIM—NOW!"

Bubbles rose violently from Alex's mask pipe. His body shook as raw energy surged through him.

A holographic dial projected above his wrist.

Symbols of creatures flickered across it—Aliens. Beasts. Monsters.

But none of them were what Alex wanted.

He didn't want to be an alien.

He didn't want to be a hero.

He wanted to hunt.

To tear them apart.

His fingers moved on instinct, selecting the only form that felt right.

A hologram flashed—

A white-haired figure in a black bodysuit, his face hidden behind a cracked, menacing mask.

Kaneki Ken.

Alex's finger slammed down.

The Transformation – Birth of the Monster

Pain.

So much pain.

His bones cracked. His muscles twisted. His veins burned as something deep inside him awakened.

His skin turned pale, his once-normal eyes bleeding into a deep, glowing red.

A black bodysuit formed over him, wrapping around his new frame like a second skin.

Then—

His mask appeared.

The unmistakable Kaneki Ken mask—metallic, cracked, a horrific grin stretched across its mouth.

His fingers twitched. His nails sharpened.

Then—

Kagune.

Four massive, tendril-like appendages burst from his back, twisting in the air like living weapons.

For the first time in his life…

Alex felt hungry.

And these scientists?

They were food.

[Meanwhile – The Xavier Mansion]

The blue shockwave from Alex's Omnitrix transformation wasn't just felt inside the lab.

It spread miles across the Earth.

And in the Xavier Mansion, the Cerebro chamber trembled.

Professor Charles Xavier sat in his chair, his fingers pressed against his temples, his mind scanning the Earth for mutants—when suddenly—

A massive energy spike hit Cerebro like an explosion.

His eyes snapped open in shock.

"My God…"

The room shuddered.

Storm, standing near the console, turned toward him. "Professor? What is it?"

Cyclops stepped forward, adjusting his visor. "Another mutant?"

Xavier's face was pale. "Not just a mutant."****"Something… different."

Jean Grey shivered, placing a hand on her forehead. "I can feel it. The pain. The rage. It's… suffocating."

Wolverine gritted his teeth, his instincts kicking in. "Where?"

Xavier hesitated. "A lab… hidden deep underground. He's… waking up."

The professor looked up, his voice grave.

"We need to bring him in before it's too late."

No one knew how right he was.

["Oh, won't you tell me? Please just tell me, explain how this should work..."]

Pain.

His bones shattered and rebuilt.

His skin twisted, stretched, bled.

His veins burned like molten metal.

[Explain how this should work]

His blue eyes darkened—turning black.

His left eye gleamed red.

A black bodysuit spread across his skin, molding to his form like living darkness.

His spine cracked violently.

Then—

Four monstrous, blood-red Kagune tendrils exploded from his back.

His mask locked into place.

A cracked, metallic grin stretched across his mouth.

Alex exhaled.

His mind was gone.

All that remained was hunger.

["Well now who could it be, that lives inside of me?"]

Alex moved before the sound finished.

A black blur. A red streak.

A Kagune tendril punched through the man's chest.

His eyes widened, blood bubbling from his lips.

Alex ripped him in half.

Blood splattered against the walls.

The other guards froze in horror.

["I'm broken, lying helpless, shattered, surrounded by the world…"]

Gunfire erupted.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Alex vanished.

Bullets whizzed past empty air.

A guard felt something drip onto his shoulder.

Warm. Sticky.

He looked up—

Alex was on the ceiling.

His red eye gleamed through the mask.

Then—

He dropped onto the guard like a beast.

A Kagune tendril wrapped around the man's throat.

The guard's scream was cut short as Alex snapped his neck like a twig.

["And yet your smiling bright, completely blind to life…"]

A scientist bolted for the exit, panting, tears streaming down his face.

He slammed his hand on the emergency panel. "O-OPEN THE DOORS! LET ME OUT!"

No response.

The doors remained locked.

The scientist turned, his eyes full of horror.

Alex was already behind him.

The scientist let out a whimper.

Alex tilted his head, watching. Waiting.

The scientist sank to his knees, sobbing. "Please… I have a family…"

Alex tilted his head.

Did I have a family?

He couldn't remember.

He didn't care.

A Kagune tendril whipped forward—

SPLASH.

The scientist's head rolled across the floor.

Alex kept walking.

["My ruptured lungs, they were left this way, for once I'm out of breath…"]

A guard lunged at him with a combat knife.

Alex caught his wrist mid-swing.

The man struggled, screaming. "D-DIE, YOU FREAK!"

Alex stared into his eyes.

Then—

He snapped the guard's arm backward.

A sickening crunch echoed.

The guard howled in agony.

Alex leaned in.

His cracked metal grin was the last thing the man saw before Alex ripped out his throat with his teeth.

Blood gushed down his suit.

Alex grinned beneath the mask.

More.

He needed more.

["The truth I seek never felt so bleak but, I maintain my depth…"]

A scientist hid behind an overturned desk, clutching a scalpel.

His hands trembled.

He could hear Alex moving.

Closer.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

The scientist held his breath.

Silence.

Maybe—just maybe—

Then—

A blood-red tendril shot through the desk, impaling the man through the gut.

He screamed, clutching the wound, coughing blood.

Alex lifted him high into the air.

The man clawed at Alex's arm, sobbing. "P-Please… I…"

Alex tilted his head.

Then—

He split the scientist in half like paper.

["I'm breakable… unbreakable… I'm shaking yet, unshakable…"]

The final group of guards had barricaded themselves behind reinforced doors.

One of them held a radio. "HQ! HQ! HE'S SLAUGHTERING US! SEND BACKUP—"

The radio crackled.

Static.

No response.

One of the guards started hyperventilating. "W-We're trapped…"

Another backed away, whispering. "He's coming."

Silence.

Then—

A single knock.

Tap.

The guards whimpered.

Another knock.

Tap.

A final knock.

BANG.

The doors exploded off their hinges.

Alex stood in the doorway.

The guards didn't even have time to scream.

Red Kagune tendrils impaled all of them at once.

Their bodies jerked, their weapons clattering to the floor.

Then—

Alex ripped them apart.

Blood splattered across the steel walls.

["Until these hands contaminate you…"]

The lab was silent.

The alarms still wailed.

The lights still flickered.

But there was no one left.

No scientists.

No guards.

No screaming.

Just bodies.

A sea of blood, limbs, and lifeless eyes staring into nothing.

Alex stood in the center of the carnage.

His Kagune swayed gently behind him.

His mask dripped crimson.

Then—

He slowly knelt down.

The X-Jet hovered above the underground lab, its shadow stretching over the desolate, ruined ground.

Storm piloted the jet, her hands gripping the controls tightly. "This place is burning from the inside out… looks like something ripped through it."

Cyclops scanned the destroyed landscape below. "This isn't a normal facility. It looks like a mutant experimentation lab."

Wolverine gritted his teeth. "I hate these places."

The jet doors opened, and the team leaped down, landing at the entrance of the crumbling structure.

The moment their boots hit the floor, the air changed.

It was thick. Heavy. Suffocating.

Jean took a step forward and immediately staggered, pressing a hand to her temple.

"Something's wrong," she whispered. "This… this energy…"

Storm looked at Xavier, who had an uneasy expression. "Professor?"

Xavier's voice was low, haunted.

"Whatever is inside… is not human anymore."

The X-Men exchanged nervous glances before moving forward.

The entrance doors groaned as they forced them open.

Inside—

A red light flickered weakly.

The air reeked of blood.

And as they stepped into the dimly lit corridor, they saw it.

Bodies.

Ripped apart, torn beyond recognition.

The floors were soaked in blood, the walls streaked with handprints of people who had tried to crawl away.

Jean covered her mouth, her entire body trembling. "My God…"

Cyclops stepped over a severed arm, his visor glowing softly in the darkness."This wasn't an attack. This was a massacre."

Wolverine's claws extended on pure instinct. "Stay sharp. Whatever did this might still be here."

Xavier's eyes swept over the horrifying scene, his expression grim.

Then—

They heard it.

Whimpering.

A faint sob, barely audible over the distant alarms.

Cyclops turned sharply. "That came from the lower levels."

Without hesitation, the team moved deeper into the facility.

The deeper they went, the worse it got.

Steel walls were dented, clawed apart.

Bullet casings littered the ground, mixed with shredded uniforms and pieces of flesh.

Then—

They reached it.

A room lined with cages.

Hundreds of mutant children sat huddled in the dark, their eyes wide with terror.

Storm gasped, rushing toward them. "They were keeping them like animals…!"

Jean pressed a hand against one of the cages, her voice soft. "You're safe now. We're here to help."

The children shook their heads violently.

One of them, barely eight years old, started crying.

"No… don't go in there."

Jean frowned. "Why not?"

The boy's breath hitched, his face pale and drenched in sweat.

His voice was barely above a whisper.

"Because… he's inside. He'll kill you."

The Monster Feasts

Silence.

Then—

A low, wet squelching sound.

Xavier's face darkened.

Wolverine sniffed the air.

His stomach turned.

Storm covered her mouth.

Jean's breathing hitched.

Cyclops readied his visor. "It's coming from the main chamber."

Slowly—

The team stepped forward.

The doors to the next room were already open.

The flickering emergency light barely illuminated what lay beyond.

At first, they couldn't comprehend what they were seeing.

Then—

It sank in.

Blood pooled across the floor, thick and dark, soaking into the steel.

The bodies of scientists and guards lay strewn across the room, some missing limbs, others torn in half.

And in the middle of it all—

He knelt.

His black suit was soaked in blood.

His mask was cracked—but still grinning.

And in his hands—

He was eating.

Chunks of flesh, muscle, bone.

Ripped straight from the bodies around him.

Wolverine's eyes widened.

His voice was a whisper.

"Oh my God ."

Alex stopped chewing.

Slowly…

He turned toward them.

His single red eye burned in the darkness.

His Kagune tendrils curled behind him.

His head tilted slightly, as if registering their presence.

Then—

His slow, unsettling grin stretched beneath the mask.

The X-Men froze.

Alex stood up.

And the room went silent.
