Chapter 4: X-MAN vs Ken Kaneki
The X-Men stood frozen, their breaths shallow, their eyes locked on the figure crouched amid the carnage.
Alex.
His black suit was drenched in blood, his cracked metallic mask grinning eerily in the dim emergency lights.
A low, guttural growl rumbled from deep within his chest.
Then—
Four monstrous, blood-drenched Kagune tendrils unraveled from his back.
Each one dripped with fresh blood, slithering through the air like hunting serpents.
The room felt smaller.
Like the walls were closing in.
Storm took a step back. "Professor…?"
Xavier's voice was grim. "He's lost control."
Wolverine unsheathed his claws with a metallic snikt, his nostrils flaring at the overwhelming stench of blood.
"What the hell… is this?"
Then—
Alex moved.
The First Strike – A Predator Unleashed
A black blur.
A red streak.
A Kagune tendril lashed out with impossible speed.
Cyclops barely had time to react before the appendage ripped through the steel wall behind him, leaving a gaping hole.
"Jesus!" he gasped, rolling away.
Storm took to the air, barely avoiding another slashing tendril.
Jean's eyes glowed, her voice desperate. "Alex, stop! We don't want to fight you!"
Alex snapped his head toward her.
His single red eye burned, his mask grinning wider.
Then—
He vanished.
Wolverine charged first, slashing at Alex's midsection.
Alex twisted unnaturally, bending backward at a spine-breaking angle.
Logan's claws slashed through empty air.
Then—
A Kagune tendril shot out, wrapping around his waist.
"Oh, f—"
Alex yanked.
Wolverine was lifted off his feet, hurled into the air—
Then slammed into the ground.
Hard.
Before he could react—
Another Kagune tendril coiled around his wrist.
Then another.
And another.
Four blood-red appendages constricted around his arms and legs, pinning him down.
Logan struggled, snarling, claws slashing wildly—
But Alex's Kagune coiled around his wrists, forcing his claws into the steel floor beneath him.
His own weapons were used against him.
Wolverine's breath hitched. "Oh, fuck."
Alex tilted his head, studying him like prey caught in a web.
Then—
He flung Wolverine through a steel wall.
The Fight Expands – The Facility Becomes a War Zone
Wolverine smashed through a row of computers, sparks flying everywhere as he tumbled across the floor.
Alex was on him before he could get up.
A Kagune tendril slammed into Logan's stomach, launching him through another wall into a weapons storage room.
Metal shelves collapsed, grenades and firearms spilling across the floor.
Storm sent a massive gust of wind, trying to force Alex back—
But Alex dug his claws into the floor, holding himself in place.
Then—
He leapt.
A blur of black and red, moving too fast.
Storm barely had time to react before Alex crashed into her mid-air, slamming her into the ceiling.
She choked on the impact, lightning crackling wildly as she tried to escape.
Alex's Kagune pinned her against the ceiling, squeezing tighter—
Then—
Cyclops fired a full-powered optic blast.
It hit Alex dead center.
The explosion sent Alex flying backward, crashing through another wall into a laboratory.
But before the X-Men could regroup—
Alex rose from the rubble.
Unscathed.
Jean's breath caught. "He's adapting…"
Alex Snaps – Growing Stronger with Every Injury
Alex shook violently, his movements glitching like a puppet with cut strings.
Then—
He broke his own finger.
CRACK.
His body twitched, then steadied.
And when he lifted his head—
He was stronger.
Cyclops fired again.
Alex dodged mid-air, faster than before.
Storm sent another lightning strike.
Alex barely flinched.
Then—
He snapped his fingers out of place.
CRACK.
His Kagune pulsed, shifting, growing thicker, deadlier.
Jean screamed. "He's evolving every time he breaks himself!"
Alex's red eye flickered.
Then—
He vanished again.
Jean and Xavier Try to Stop Him Psychically
Xavier's voice echoed in Jean's mind.
"We have to go inside his head. NOW."
Jean reached out—
And everything went black.
They were floating in a void of nothingness.
Scattered stars drifted around them like dying embers.
Xavier turned. "Alex?"
A voice whispered.
"You shouldn't be here."
Something moved.
A shadow surged toward them, faster than light—
And then—
A massive force slammed into them, hurling them out of Alex's mind.
Jean screamed as she crashed back into her body.
Xavier gasped for air.
"He's beyond control."
The Omnitrix Shuts Him Down
Alex was faster now.
Less like a warrior—
More like a force of nature.
Cyclops fired.
Missed.
Storm sent another lightning bolt.
Alex absorbed it.
Wolverine swung his claws—
Alex caught his wrist and bent it the wrong way.
Then—
A mechanical voice echoed through the battlefield.
["WARNING. USER LOSING CONTROL."]
Alex staggered.
His red eye flickered.
["WARNING. USER DNA EXCEEDING LIMITS."]
His Kagune trembled.
A bright blue light ignited on his chest.
["FOR USER SAFETY, FORCING TRANSFORMATION OFF."]
Then—
Alex screamed.
His black suit peeled away.
His Kagune shriveled into nothing.
His red eye flickered—then faded.
A final flash of blue light.
Then—
Silence.
Alex collapsed.
Wolverine, bloodied, looked down.
His jaw clenched.
"What the hell… are we dealing with?"
