You Choose an Adopted Son, I Choose Madness

Chapter 29

Chapter 29: Do We, as Parents, Owe You, Su Chen?:

Su Qiqi’s stomach churned violently. It felt as if the food she had just eaten was being forcibly summoned back up.

“Ugh… ugh…”

She gagged and vomited.

A mess of undigested food spewed from her mouth.

Now, Su Chen wasn’t just stirring air inside her mouth with the toilet brush—he was stirring her own vomit.

Su Zhenxing and Su Mu snapped out of their shock and immediately rushed forward, yanking Su Chen away.

As they pulled him back, the toilet brush in his hand was also forcibly taken away.

With nothing blocking it anymore, Su Qiqi’s vomit spilled out in a disgusting cascade.

Liu Yanyan dry-heaved and, with a face twisted in agony, fled from the dining room.

Even Su Zhenxing and Su Mu, though slightly more composed, couldn’t help but feel nauseous.

But Su Qiqi had it the worst.

Even after throwing up, she continued dry-heaving uncontrollably. Tears streamed down her face as she struggled to breathe, but her furious glare never left Su Chen.

Despite his own discomfort, Su Mu seized the moment to play the good son.

“Brother, Second Sister was just telling the truth. How could you do this to her?!”

“You actually used a toilet brush…”

The mere thought made him retch mid-sentence.

Forcing himself to swallow the nausea, Su Mu continued with his act.

“Besides, Brother, do you really think Second Sister was wrong?”

“Brother, don’t you believe that one should be filial and grateful to their parents for raising them?”

Hearing this, Su Zhenxing’s face darkened even more. He immediately erupted in rage.

“Su Chen! You ungrateful brat!”

“Your mother and I raised you, yet you turned out like this?!”

“Was your Second Sister wrong? Shouldn’t you greet your parents and thank us for raising you?!”

“Or do you, you unfilial wretch, actually think that your mother and I owe you something?!”

Su Mu’s eyes gleamed with malice and satisfaction.

Su Chen, filial piety is an inescapable duty. Let’s see how you get out of this one!

Meanwhile, Su Qiqi remained on the floor, still dry-heaving.

She had already emptied her stomach, yet the foul taste of the toilet brush lingered in her mouth.

She wished she could vomit out her entire insides just to cleanse herself.

But hearing Su Mu’s righteous scolding and Su Zhenxing’s furious rebuke brought her some solace.

In her heart, she prayed: Dad, hurry up and beat Su Chen! Beat him to death if you can!

The thought alone made her gag again.

Su Chen, on the other hand, examined the toilet brush in his hand, feeling oddly unsatisfied.

Then, he looked at Su Qiqi’s venomous glare and decided—her mouth still wasn’t clean enough.

Without hesitation, he lifted the vomit-covered brush and moved toward her again.

Su Qiqi’s heart nearly stopped in terror.

Though she was weak from retching, sheer panic gave her the strength to scramble behind Su Zhenxing, using him as a human shield.

Only then did she feel a sliver of safety.

But Su Zhenxing was furious.

Su Chen wasn’t even answering his scolding and was instead trying to shove the toilet brush into Qiqi’s mouth again?!

The mere thought made his stomach churn.

No! No more thinking about it!

If he kept thinking about it, he might not be able to hold himself together.

Shoving the horrifying image out of his mind, he redirected all his focus to yelling at Su Chen.

“Su Chen, answer me!”

“Your Second Sister only asked you to greet and thank your parents! Was she wrong?!”

“Your mother and I don’t owe you anything! We raised you, and yet we don’t even get a simple thank you?!”

“You’re nothing but an ungrateful, heartless ingrate!”

“Why can’t you learn from your Second Sister or your younger brother?!”

“What kind of sin did I commit to end up with a son like you?!”

“This is my punishment! My punishment for raising an unfilial son!”

“I will not let this stand! I’ll teach you a lesson right now! If I don’t make you understand what it means to be grateful, then I don’t deserve to be called Su Zhenxing!”

With that, he pulled off his belt, ready to strike.

Su Mu quickly stepped out of range, watching the scene with glee.

Yes! Beat him! Beat him!

Even Su Qiqi, still slumped behind her father, cast a malicious glance at Su Chen.

Yes! Beat him to death!

But Su Chen only sneered.

Without hesitation, he swung the filthy toilet brush directly at Su Zhenxing’s hand.

The vomit-covered bristles flung chunks of disgusting filth into the air.

Shocked, Su Zhenxing instinctively recoiled with a speed no man in his forties should possess.

In his panic, he lost his grip, and the belt slipped from his hand.

At the same time, Su Qiqi, unable to dodge in time, was splattered with vomit.

All over her face.

All over her clothes.

Su Qiqi froze.

Every fiber of her being screamed in horror and disgust.

Then, her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed, fainting on the spot.

Enraged, Su Zhenxing pointed a trembling finger at Su Chen and roared.

But he didn’t dare get any closer.

He needed to keep his distance—he refused to end up like Qiqi.

“Su Chen! You ungrateful wretch!”

“What do you think you’re doing?!”

“Are you trying to hit your father?!”

“Su Chen, you unfilial brat! I should have strangled you the moment you were born!”

“It would’ve saved me from the disgrace of raising you!”

But Su Chen wasn’t fazed.

With a look of exaggerated pain and grievance, he swung the toilet brush in his hand again, his body trembling dramatically as he shouted back.

“Su Zhenxing, listen to me!”

“You really think you don’t owe me anything?!”

“I’m telling you—you do owe me!”

“You, Su Zhenxing, and Liu Yanyan—you both owe me!”

“You were supposed to raise me! You were obligated to raise me! That’s your debt to me!”

Su Zhenxing’s face twisted with rage, his entire body shaking.

He pointed at Su Chen, his voice rising to a furious roar.

“You ungrateful brat!”

“You vile creature!”

“Tell me—how do your mother and I owe you?!”

“We gave you life! We raised you! How does that make us indebted to you?!”

Su Chen, hearing this, didn’t just tremble anymore—he threw himself to the ground, rolling around as if in agony.

The toilet brush in his hand flailed wildly, flinging bits of filth in every direction.

His eyes burned with fury as he glared up at Su Zhenxing, his voice filled with raw resentment.

“You owe me!”

“Not just you—Liu Yanyan owes me too!”

“You both owe me!”
