You Choose an Adopted Son, I Choose Madness

Chapter 30

Chapter 30: You Owe Me:

Su Zhenxing grew even angrier as he listened to Su Chen, but he couldn’t even argue back right now—Su Chen was still swinging that filthy toilet brush, sending vomit splattering everywhere.

His face twisted in horror as he quickly jumped farther away to avoid the flying filth.

Su Mu, equally terrified and disgusted, also leaped out of Su Chen’s range.

The only one who couldn’t escape was the unconscious Su Qiqi.

Her face and body were already covered in multiple layers of vomit—some dry, some fresh—stacking upon each other like a disgusting, useless protective coating.

Su Zhenxing was furious, his hands trembling as he pointed at Su Chen, but he couldn’t even get a word out.

Su Mu stared at Su Chen with both fear and revulsion. Had he really lost his mind?!

Su Chen was the one who had shoved a toilet brush into Second Sister’s mouth, and yet he was the one acting crazy?

How did that make any sense?!

Thinking of Su Qiqi, Su Mu instinctively glanced her way, even feeling a shred of pity. He considered finding a chance to drag her out of Su Chen’s attack zone.

But the moment his gaze landed on her, he immediately regretted it.

Her face and clothes were completely covered in vomit—some dried, some still dripping.

The sight alone made him gag.

He stumbled backward, nearly tripping, before bolting out of the dining room.

Not even the pleasure of watching his father beat Su Chen could make him stay in that room any longer. If he did, he was sure he’d pass out!

Su Chen didn’t bother with Su Mu’s panicked retreat. He didn’t even care about Su Qiqi’s miserable state.

His target was only one person—Su Zhenxing.

Rolling on the floor, waving the filthy toilet brush like a madman, he roared:

“Su Zhenxing! The national law clearly states that parents have a legal obligation to raise their underage children!”

“When I was just two years old, you two failed in your duty as parents and let me get kidnapped!”

“For thirteen years, from the age of two to fifteen, I didn’t receive even the slightest bit of parental care from you. Instead, I grew up suffering in an orphanage, completely alone!”

“So tell me, Su Zhenxing, don’t you and Liu Yanyan owe me?!”

“Do you dare say that you weren’t supposed to raise me?!”

“Say it! Say it! I dare you to say it!”

Su Zhenxing’s whole body trembled as he stared at Su Chen’s crazed appearance. His vision blurred, and his head spun.

He had never expected Su Chen to bring up the law to prove that they truly owed him.

He wanted to argue back.

But he knew that what Su Chen was saying was legally correct.

He had always been aware of that law.

He just never thought about applying it to his own family.

Until today.

Now that Su Chen had brought it up, he wanted to refute him. But how could he? If he denied it, it would mean denying the law itself!

That was impossible!

His mind went blank, unable to think of a response.

Did this mean… he had to admit that Su Chen was right?!

His face darkened, turning from black to green, then green to black again, like a chameleon changing colors in distress.

Then, his gaze swept over the disaster zone that was now the dining room.

The food on the table was still untouched, but now, he couldn’t help but feel that every dish had been seasoned with Su Qiqi’s vomit.

The floor was an absolute nightmare—splattered with vomit everywhere.

The chair where Su Qiqi had been sitting was practically a puddle of filth.

And as for Su Qiqi herself…

Her entire body was coated in vomit, her face unrecognizable beneath the layers of filth.

The sight made Su Zhenxing dry-heave.

He barely managed to stop himself from throwing up.

Then, he turned to look at Su Chen.

Su Chen, miraculously, had managed to avoid all the vomit.

Because he had been flinging it all away with the toilet brush!

Without another second of hesitation, Su Zhenxing bolted out of the dining room.

“Housekeeper Li! Housekeeper Li! Where the hell are you?!”

“Do you not see the state of the dining room?!”

“Clean it up immediately!”

“And before you start cleaning, take Qiqi to her room and wash her properly!”

Housekeeper Li had been peacefully eating in the kitchen, completely unfazed by the commotion from the dining room.

She had assumed it was just the usual—Second Miss and Young Master Mu bullying Young Master Chen again.

She didn’t see the need to intervene.

She was even enjoying her meal more than usual today because tonight’s dishes were some of her favorites.

She was so full, yet she kept eating.

But just as she was savoring the last bites, Su Zhenxing’s furious voice shattered her peaceful meal.

Her face twitched in irritation.

Damn it! Why do people always call for work when others are eating?!

And now, she had to bathe Second Miss?

What, is she a toddler or something? She can’t wash herself?!

Shameless brat!

Reluctantly, she put down her bowl, casting a longing glance at the last piece of chopped pepper fish head.

She would have to hurry up and clean so she could come back and eat it.

Grumbling in frustration, she stomped toward the dining room.

But the moment she stepped in—

A putrid, acidic stench slammed into her nostrils.

She froze.

What was that smell?!

Tonight’s dinner didn’t have anything that smelled like this!

Confused, she scanned the room.

And then—

She saw it.

And froze again.

And then—

She gagged.

Then, unable to hold it in—

She threw up.

Oh, God! What the hell is this nightmare?!

Meanwhile, Su Chen had long since escaped to his room.

He left behind a retching Housekeeper Li, who now had to clean both the dining room and Su Qiqi.

For the next few days, the Su family was uncharacteristically quiet.

It seemed that no one wanted to test Su Chen’s newfound madness.

The world was like this—if you were ruthless enough, even the cruelest people would back off.

Finally, it was time for school to resume.

Su Chen and Su Mu rode together in the Su family’s Rolls-Royce to Sunshine Noble Academy.

They were both in their final year of high school.

After the New Year break, the real battle for college entrance exams would begin.

The reason Su Mu was always favored by the Su family was simple—he excelled in academics.

Not only was he the top student at Sunshine Noble Academy, but he was also ranked first in the entire city of Haishi.

Su Chen, on the other hand, was at the complete opposite end of the spectrum.

Before returning to the Su family, he had actually been a top student.

But ever since coming back, things changed.

Not only did he have to endure cold treatment and indifference from the Su family—he received zero parental affection.

At school, he wasn’t treated any better.

Under Su Mu’s manipulation, his classmates isolated him, his teachers discriminated against him, and Su Mu’s lackeys bullied him constantly.

With all this weighing him down, his grades had plummeted.
