Orli stood in front of the mirror, cautiously peering into it.

She saw herself surrounded by people—not her family, but her friends from Hogwarts.

They had all grown older, just like Orli. Everyone appeared to be in their thirties, middle-aged, and no one was missing. They were all safe and sound.

Harry was dressed in an Auror's uniform, exuding confidence and vigor. Ron and Hermione stood closely together, their bond unmistakable. George and Fred wore identical, hilariously striped suits.

In the center of the group stood Orli, holding a peculiar cauldron-shaped trophy and a stack of Potions exam results, all marked with Outstanding grades.

A little apart from the group, Snape stood nodding and clapping, his face even showing a rare smile of approval.

# Harry

"So? Did you see your mum and dad?" Harry asked eagerly.

## Orli

"I saw all of us together, grown up. And it seems I've won some major Potions award," Orli replied, carefully leaving out the part about Snape.

# Ron

"Let me have another look! I want to see myself with my Quidditch trophy!" Ron said, trying to push forward.

# Harry

"All you care about is your trophy. What's so exciting about that? I want to see my mum and dad!" Harry protested, refusing to step aside.

# Ron

"Don't push me…"

Suddenly, a noise came from the corridor outside. Realizing they had been too loud, they quickly fell silent.

The door creaked open, and Mrs. Norris strolled in, her wide eyes scanning every corner of the room.

The three of them stood frozen under the Invisibility Cloak, holding their breath for what felt like an eternity until the cat finally turned and left.

# Harry

"It's not safe here. Let's go; she might bring Filch," Harry said, pulling them out of the empty classroom. The three of them hurried back to Gryffindor Tower.

—————

The next morning, as they sat in the Great Hall having breakfast, Harry looked utterly distracted.

# Ron

"Harry, I know you're thinking about that mirror, but don't go back tonight," Ron said with concern.

# Harry

"Why not?" Harry asked, clearly displeased.

# Ron

"I've got a bad feeling about it. We almost got caught by Filch last time. Even if he can't see you, what if he bumps into you or you knock something over?"

# Harry

"You're starting to sound as naggy as Hermione," Harry muttered, clearly ignoring Ron's warning.

Ron turned to Orli for help, but she shook her head.

## Orli

"Don't worry. A mirror that reveals people's hearts wouldn't be left unattended by the professors. If Harry's still like this after tonight, we'll tell Professor McGonagall," Orli whispered to Ron.

She remembered that Dumbledore would speak to Harry tonight and move the Mirror of Erised away.

—————

Hermione returned the day before term began and quickly learned about the mirror.

She was both horrified by Harry's repeated nighttime escapades and relieved that they hadn't been caught by Filch.

Meanwhile, Quidditch practice resumed. If Gryffindor could beat Hufflepuff in their next match, they'd finally surpass Slytherin in points—for the first time in seven years!

Wood had become an absolute training fanatic, refusing to cancel practice even in the pouring rain. The twins and Harry were practically chained to the pitch.

For a long while, they had little time to think about the Philosopher's Stone, Nicolas Flamel, or the three-headed dog.

After a grueling day of practice, Harry returned to the Potions base to find Ron playing Wizard's Chess with Hermione, while Orli was, as always, engrossed in her cauldron.

## Orli

"What's wrong? You look awful," Orli asked, stirring a potion of slug juice.

# Harry

"The next match… Snape's suddenly going to be the referee," Harry muttered, using his scarf to wipe the rainwater from his hair.
