Chapter 456: Chapter 458: Hit the door on your face

The Apollo Familia's residence was bustling as usual during the day. As one of the larger familias, it was typically a lively hub with people coming and going. However, today, the arrival of two figures cast an eerie silence over the scene.

"So, this is the Apollo Familia," Alexander murmured as he stood before the grand estate.

In the original anime, this residence was eventually lost to the Hestia Familia, but Alexander had no plans to stay in this world for long. Initially, he didn't think much of this place, but the plan couldn't keep up with the changes.

"It's quite a decent house. Well then, I'll have them use it to compensate me for my loss," Alexander muttered lightly, leading Hestia toward the gates of the Apollo Familia.

"Hey! Who are you? What business do you have with the Apollo Familia?"

"Stop right there, or we won't be polite!"

Two guards quickly stepped forward, their voices loud and authoritative, but Alexander didn't even glance their way. He continued walking, his gaze fixed coldly on the grand building ahead.

"Call out Apollo," Alexander said calmly.

For a moment, everyone froze. They exchanged confused looks. 'Who does this guy think he is? Zeus? Demanding to see Apollo-sama right away?'

A pallum stepped forward, his face twisting with disdain as he sized up Alexander. "Hey, kid! I don't know who you think you are, but you'd better turn around and leave now. Otherwise, we'll crush you without a second thought!"

Alexander glanced at the young man, vaguely recalling him. 'Luan Espel.' He remembered the character—a minor nuisance who mocked Bell and triggered the conflict between the Apollo and Hestia familias in the original story.

"You? Not qualified. Get Apollo out here," Alexander said coldly.

Luan's face turned red with fury. "What?! You dare to look down on me?!" He turned to the others and shouted, "Everyone! Teach this guy a lesson—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Alexander's fist, as solid as a sandbag, smashed into his face.

'Boom!'

Luan's body was sent flying over ten meters, skidding to a stop on the ground. Two small white fangs tumbled out of his mouth, leaving him dazed and confused. 'Wait... wasn't I the one about to attack? How did I end up over here?'

"What?! Someone's causing trouble?! Damn it! Everyone, assemble!"

"Kill him! No one who causes trouble in the Apollo Familia lives to tell the tale!"

"Kill him! Don't let him leave!"

'Shing! Shing! Shing!'

One by one, figures surged toward Alexander with weapons drawn. Alexander cracked his knuckles, ready to meet them head-on. But just as he raised his fist, Hestia gently tugged at his sleeve.

"Alexander, don't hit them too hard," she said softly.

What a kind soul she was, even after these people had burned down her home. Truly, she was a goddess who embodied compassion.

However...

"If you hit too hard, our future home will be destroyed. From now on, it's all ours."

Hestia's normally kind and compassionate demeanor revealed a slight shift. Was the "kind daughter of the gods" hiding a sharper side beneath the surface?

"Alright, I got it," Alexander said with a sigh. Lowering his raised fist, he instead snapped his fingers.

'Frozen Cloud.'

'Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!'

A wave of blue-white gas swept across the approaching crowd. When the mist cleared, only a collection of intricate ice sculptures remained around Alexander, their forms resembling frozen warriors locked in mid-charge. The scene was a masterpiece of accidental postmodern art.

"Ahhhh! A murderer! Captain Hyakinthos! Apollo-sama! Something terrible has happened!"

Luan, now fully panicked, struggled to his feet and stumbled toward the backyard. His goal was clear—to inform Apollo of the disaster. Meanwhile, Alexander calmly sat down on a nearby chair, waiting for the host of the house to make his appearance.

To Luan's credit, he moved surprisingly fast. Within minutes, two figures emerged from the back of the residence.

"Haha! Hestia! Alexander! What brings you here? Have you finally decided to join our family?" Apollo's voice was cheerful and smug as he greeted them.

Alexander rolled his eyes. Without bothering to rise from his seat, he met Apollo's gaze and asked bluntly, "Stop joking. Just answer me—did you burn our house?"

Apollo's die hard follower, Hyakinthos, smirked and nodded. "That's right. I burned it!"

The words had barely left Hyakinthos' mouth when 'bang!' Alexander's slap sent him flying. Hyakinthos' face burned hot as he skidded across the ground. Though his level 3 toughness was leagues ahead of Luan's level 1, even he couldn't withstand Alexander's sheer power. Hyakinthos managed to keep most of his teeth, though he still lost one in the exchange—just one less than Luan.

"Level 3 does have thicker skin," Alexander muttered, flexing his fingers as if evaluating the sensation of the strike.

"You!!!" Hyakinthos spat out blood as he struggled to his feet, rage seething in his eyes. He prepared to lunge forward but froze when Alexander's calm voice cut through the air.

"Tomorrow morning, war game. The loser gives up everything. I'll wait for you."
