"Evan, are you planning to get Pokémon eggs?"

"Have you found an egg?"

"Do you need help?"

Sophia looked around curiously.

The machine nearby was already running. Was he preparing to get Pokémon eggs to hatch?

"Have you found the Pokémon egg yet?"

"If not, I can help you look for one."

When Evan heard her words, he immediately shook his head.

"No, I've already reserved a Pokémon egg with my classmates."

"I'll send it over in a moment."

When Sophia heard this, she nodded immediately.

"Got it. If that's the case, then you won't need my help."

She didn't dwell on it further and instead got to the business she came for.

"Evan, I'm here to talk to you about last month's sales."

"Do you have a moment?"

Hearing this, Evan blinked in surprise.

"Last month's sales? Energy cubes?"

Realizing it was the end of the month, Evan nodded. It was time to start discussing dividends.

Without hesitation, he walked toward the living room.

Seeing this, Sophia quickly followed.

Once in the living room, Sophia picked up a bag she had placed on the sofa and took out a document. She handed it to Evan.

"This details last month's sales," she explained.

"Although it's only been less than half a month since we started, the sales for the energy cubes you provided were excellent."

"I've compiled all the relevant data here. Please check it, and if there are no issues, I'll arrange for the company to transfer the funds directly."

Evan nodded and sat down to review the document.

The data showed how many energy cubes had been authorized for production by the factory, how many had been sold, and included shipment and sales records.

After carefully examining the details, Evan nodded in approval.

Everything seemed accurate, and he trusted Sophia implicitly.

As he was about to speak, Sophia chimed in.

"Evan, would you like a professional to verify the data?"

"If you'd prefer, I can arrange for someone to double-check everything."

Hearing this, Evan smiled and shook his head.

"No need," he said confidently. "I trust you."

"The data looks perfect as it is. Go ahead and have the funds transferred."

Sophia nodded, reassured by his words.

"Alright," she said, smiling. "I'll contact the finance department right away."

She took out her phone and sent a message to her grandfather, instructing him to process the payment.

Evan placed the document aside and turned to his Lurantis.

"Lurantis, could you let Gardevoir know that Sophia is here and to bring her Kirlia over?"

Hearing her trainer's request, Lurantis nodded and quickly headed to the backyard.

Meanwhile, Evan stood up and began making tea for Sophia.

Moments later, just as Sophia finished sending her message, her Kirlia appeared.

"Kirliaaa!" it chimed happily.

Seeing Sophia, Kirlia rushed forward and hugged her tightly.

"Kirlia!"

Sophia's face lit up with joy when she saw her Pokémon.

Even though it had only been a few days since she last visited, she missed Kirlia dearly.

Looking closely at her companion, Sophia noticed Kirlia seemed stronger than before. Evolution didn't seem far off now.

Her smile widened at the thought.

"As expected, leaving you here with Evan was the right choice," Sophia said warmly.

"You're getting stronger again."

Hearing her words, Kirlia nodded confidently.

How could it not grow stronger? Gardevoir trained it every day!

"Kirli~!"

Kirlia struck a proud pose, beaming with enthusiasm, and began communicating excitedly with Sophia.

Though she couldn't understand exactly what Kirlia was saying, Sophia could feel its emotions clearly—it was happily sharing something with her.

Sophia turned to Evan, her eyes filled with expectation.

"Can you translate?"

Evan sighed dramatically, though there was a hint of amusement in his tone.

"It says there are a lot of new Pokémon in the backyard, so it has plenty of playmates now. Plus, Gardevoir trains it daily."

Being both the caretaker and translator, Evan was used to this routine.

However, Sophia was an important customer, so he couldn't complain.

Hearing the translation, Sophia chuckled softly.

"That's wonderful."

"Kirlia, you're amazing!"

She affectionately rubbed Kirlia's head, feeling proud and reassured.

What pleased Sophia most was that Kirlia wasn't as clingy to Evan anymore.

For a while, she had been worried her Pokémon might rebel and choose to stay with him.

Now, seeing Kirlia's affection and excitement, she could finally relax. Kirlia was still hers.

With that thought, Sophia settled down, chatting with Evan and Kirlia while sipping tea.

Evan translated Kirlia's chirps and gestures whenever needed.

Their conversation eventually shifted to Evan's Pokémon.

Sophia's eyes sparkled with envy as she glanced at Lurantis.

"Evan, you're unbelievably lucky," she said with a sigh.

"A Shiny Gardevoir, a Shiny Pidgeot, and now a Shiny Lurantis."

"Three Shinies, and they all came to you on their own. It's unreal!"

Evan smirked and shrugged.

"I can't help it. Must be my charm~~."

"But actually, you're wrong. My Charmander is also a Shiny."

"Didn't you notice? Its pupils are golden."

Sophia blinked in surprise, processing his words. After a moment, realization dawned on her.

He was right. Evan's Charmander might look like a regular one at first glance, but its golden eyes marked it as a Shiny.

"It really is," Sophia murmured, stunned.

She sat in silence for a moment, overwhelmed by her envy.

Was this what people meant by someone being born lucky? It was almost unfair.

"Ugh, Evan, you're so lucky. Why don't you share some of that luck with me?"

"So far, I only have three Pokémon, and I have no idea how I'll get the rest."

She looked at Evan with a pleading expression.

"Could you lend me some of your incredible luck? Let me catch a Shiny too!"

Evan shrugged nonchalantly.

"Sorry, luck doesn't work like that."

"And besides, if you need more Pokémon, all you have to do is ask. You don't need luck for that."

Sophia sighed dramatically.

Even though Evan had a point, Shiny Pokémon weren't something money could easily buy.

Sure, her family was wealthy enough to afford one, but rarity and availability were entirely different matters.

For now, all she could do was admire Evan's extraordinary fortune.
