He then sent out his knife which was coated in a large wind that enlarged rapidly as more wind gathered.

The snake's abdomen was wide open for him to strike, of course he would not let go of this opportunity.

The wind knife slashed through the snake's abdomen from top to bottom, tearing it straight open until blood gushed out, turning the river red.

He couldn't help but glance at the two men aboard the ship, certain that the remaining Attribute Points had been distributed to them.

When a monster kill involved multiple Awakeners, the resulting Attribute Points would also be divided, depending on the number of contributions.

Although the two men did not deliver an attack to the snake, they essentially distracted the snake which gave Enzo the opportunity to attack.

Enzo could not protest against this even though he felt disadvantaged.

He then distributed Attribute Points to his attributes for him to become stronger once again.

He wondered as he looked at his stats, remembering the notice at the beginning that said he could advance to the next rank if he reached 300 Points in total.

The snake lay in the river after becoming a corpse and was instantly carried downstream by the river's current.

Perhaps it relied on its venom fusing with water to produce the mist.

With the scenery becoming clearer, the locals escorted by Enzo began to be able to see what was happening in front of them.

Realizing that the ones in trouble were people from the same village as them, they quickly approached them to perform a rescue while the two Awakeners were busy observing Enzo.

Enzo had no trouble chasing after the snake's corpse.

He then tore open his chest where he finally saw his green Life Core.

His hand without hesitation grabbed it.

Between Level 6 and Level 10 there was almost no difference at all, but there was a difference in energy that could be clearly felt.

The weight was also different. The Level 6 Life Core seemed to weigh 6 grams while the Level 10 weighed 10 grams.

Enzo didn't pay much attention to the Life Core as he suddenly saw something else, right behind the location of the Life Core.

It was something similar to a stone the size of a ring stone, having a pitch black color where there were yellow lines that looked like ancient symbols engraved on it.

Enzo had seen that thing in one of the threads on the forum, but he hadn't read the description so he didn't really know what it was.

He picked it up to get a notification.
