SSS-Class Magic Academy Professor Got The Internet

Chapter 5: Unimaginable Pain

He had not slept a wink all day, all this time he had been waiting in the room and trying to learn the alchemical knowledge in the books.

So far he had managed to read eleven books, everything was perfect for him, as the pleasure of learning was back on him.

Desmond was very lucky that he had agreed to erase his memories.

The time had come, the liquid in the cauldron had become stagnant.

When Desmond approached the cauldron, he saw that there was something different from what Merlin had said. Merlin had clearly explained that there was only one bottle of potion left in the cauldron, but he could clearly see that the cauldron was still full to the top.

For a few seconds, he could not comprehend what this meant, to put it simply, he could not comprehend the reality of it.

It was hard to imagine what he could do if this potion worked and this whole cauldron was full of it.

That is precisely why he had filled all the bottles. Almost two hundred glass bottles were filled and sent into the dimensional pouch that Desmond carried with him.

Only one bottle remained in the centre of the desk.

He took a deep breath, he had great faith, a conviction that Merlin's lesson would not be wrong.

He suddenly picked up the bottle and took a deep breath and poured it down his mouth without thinking.

Desmond felt as if he had drunk water, a glass of very good-tasting water, a little bitter.

Yet he had no idea what was about to happen.

As the seconds ticked by, Desmond realised that something was changing in his body. He had both hands on the desk, his head was bent over it and he was staring intently at the empty potion bottle.

He could hardly breathe, his whole body was insanely hot, as was his chest, as if he was being burnt alive.

Desmond had never felt such pain before, the only way you could feel it in the modern world would be to have a nuclear bomb dropped on your head.

Suddenly he fell to the floor and clutched his robes tightly, clutching his chest. He was breathless. He pulled his legs up to his chest and just stood there.

Not only was his whole body burning from the inside, but blood was pouring out of his mouth. It was as if his organ was going through a transformation.

He had thought that this potion would only give him a magic heart, just a power in the chanting and help him to use magic.

He didn't expect it to create a magic heart even tho he hoped for it to happen.

With each passing second the pressure on his body increased, he was sweating more and more and even managed to vaporise the sweat on his body.

It was a terrible feeling, a painful experience and a hateful thing. The worst thing was that this pain did not stop. He was sure that he was close to fainting, his whole body was convulsing one after the other and blood was flowing from his ears and eyes.

In a word, he really looked like a demon from a horror film.

When he forced his eyes open, he managed to see, even his bloodshot eyes were beginning to blur.

After a short time, the light was completely extinguished for him, and his consciousness collapsed there and then.

Unbeknownst to him, something completely different was happening at the entrance of the White Palace.

A carriage with a dark crescent moon embroidered on it, driven by jet-black horses with white wings, stopped at the inner entrance of the palace.

Emperor Aether, Empress Camelia, Crown Prince Luke and Second Princess Ana stood in front of the inner entrance.

The uneasiness on each of their faces was visible to the naked eye. Every mage in and around the palace came out and knelt down to wait for the person who would get off the carriage.

The knights formed a formation, it was like a show.

The door of the carriage was opened at that moment, and the first one to come out was an ordinary female servant with black hair and wearing a very beautiful dress.

The maid extended her hand towards the carriage door, and the maid's hand was held by another hand.

At that moment the entire imperial family could not help swallowing, they were really fearing for their lives now.

The person who got out of the carriage looked towards the imperial family.

At that moment, every member of the imperial family fell to their knees one after the other, each of them unable to say a single word out of fear.

"Where is he?" suddenly came a voice, it was a stunning voice to be exact.

"He's at his manor, my mistress, and I handed the things over to him after I sent you the letter," said Aether, not daring to lift his head.

When the woman she called my mistress heard these words, she started to approach Aether, the sound of the high heels she was wearing echoed around the palace, it was that quiet. Then she spoke again with that authoritative voice:

"If harm comes to our youngest, I will know it from you, young emperor, we gave you a direct order."

Aether swallowed and then said, "Yes, mistress."

With that, she got back into the carriage and then the winged horses flew the carriage off the ground and headed straight for Desmond's mansion.

After a flight of only fifteen minutes, the carriage landed back on earth and the woman got out of the carriage and was greeted directly by Kris.

"Welcome, my lady, do you need something?" Kris asked.

"You are lucky I love you so much young Kris, otherwise,e I would have had your head, tell me, where is your master?" the woman said.

Even if Desmond didn't realise it, he was in big trouble.
