Chapter 735: I Have My Professional Villain Licence
Villain Ch 735. I Have My Professional Villain Licence
Bella and Alice shared a knowing chuckle at Allen's remark. It was the kind of laughter that spoke volumes.
"True," Bella agreed, her giggle echoing in the virtual space. There was a playful twinkle in her eyes as she glanced at Alice.
Alice turned to face Allen, her expression thoughtful. "Shall we hunt now?" she asked, her gaze flickering between Bella and Allen.
Allen hesitated for a moment, considering Alice's suggestion. "You don't want to hunt together with the others?" he asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice. "I'm sure they'll also have Elio and VirtualValkykrie on their kill list because of yesterday's incident," he reminded them.
His words hung in the air, prompting a thoughtful silence as Bella and Alice exchanged glances. It was clear that they were weighing their options, considering the potential consequences of their actions.
Alice's mischievous suggestion sparked a glint of excitement in Bella's eyes, her smirk widening as she considered the possibilities. "That's up to you," Alice teased, her smile playful. "But it would be better if we gave Elio the spotlight twice," she made another suggestion.
Bella's smirk turned into a grin as she caught on to Alice's line of thinking.
"You know, just make sure someone's plans are ruined," Alice added, her tone dripping with amusement as she imagined the look of disappointment on Sophia's face.
"Yeah, with that, we can make sure Sophia's drama ends in nothing!" Bella chimed in, her voice laced with satisfaction at the thought of foiling Sophia's schemes.
A frown creased his brow as he watched his companions revel in their mischief. "Why are you guys so excited?" he questioned, his tone tinged with disapproval. "I thought this was my idea. You guys look like bullies now," he reminded them, raising one of his eyebrows.
The playful banter came to an abrupt halt as Allen's words sank in. Bella and Alice exchanged sheepish glances, suddenly realizing the implications of their actions. But a moment later, their naughty smiles came back.
"Sorry," Alice apologized, yet she wore playful expression. "We didn't mean to make it seem like we were ganging up. It's just... well, Sophia has been causing so much drama lately, and it's hard not to get caught up in it." She ended it with giggle, a proof how she enjoyed this.
Bella nodded in agreement, her smirk replaced by a more subdued expression. "Yeah, we got carried away," she admitted. "But I don't feel sorry for it," she said in nonchalant tone, shrugging.
Bella's playful response elicited a chuckle from Alice. She glanced at Allen. "Besides," she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Although it was your idea, yet we're happy to participate in the chaos," she stated in playful tone.
Allen rolled his eyes, but a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "Just don't be too harsh on VirtualValkyrie, okay?" he reminded them, his tone tinged with concern.
Bella shot Allen a teasing glance, her smirk widening. "Wait... so you're worried about her?" she teased, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "I thought you were worried that Elio would rage quit after being attacked in the forum and in the game," she reminded him.
Alice chuckled at Bella's remark, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, Allen," she added, her tone light and teasing. "I'm sure VirtualValkyrie can handle herself. But Elio might need a little extra support after this," she stated. It wasn't a baseless assumption since Allen's threat could indeed make Elio's despair even deeper, even though the possibility was small since Elio was a pro gamer.
"I know, I know," Allen sighed, running a hand through his hair. He knew that Elio had been through a lot lately and he knew how frustrating it was. "I just don't want things to spiral out of control. We need to be careful, that's all. Just make sure it doesn't drag us down," he reminded them.
Bella and Alice exchanged knowing glances, silently acknowledging Allen's concerns. They knew that while their antics were all in good fun, there was a fine line between harmless pranks and causing real harm.
"Don't worry, Allen," Alice reassured him, her tone gentle. "We'll keep things under control. We're a team, remember? I have my professional villain licence," she said confidently.
Allen chuckled due her words. "Still, just remember to go easy on VirtualValkyrie. I'm worried about her since I almost gave her a heart attack earlier," he said with an innocent grin.
Allen's innocent grin only piqued Alice and Bella's curiosity further. They leaned in closer, their eyes gleaming with anticipation as they waited for him to spill the beans.
"Tell us what happened," they chimed in unison, their voices filled with excitement.
Allen chuckled at their eagerness, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "I'll tell you along the way, okay?" he teased, enjoying the suspense as he held back the details of his earlier escapade.
Alice and Bella exchanged playful glances, their curiosity still burning bright. "Fine," Alice relented with a playful pout. "But you better spill the tea soon, Allen. We can't handle the suspense."
Bella nodded in agreement, her smirk widening. "Yeah, spill it!" she teased, nudging Allen playfully with her elbow.
Allen laughed, feeling a sense of camaraderie with his companions as they shared this moment of playful banter. "Okay, okay," he conceded, unable to resist their infectious energy.
They made their way into the portal room. Allen took a deep breath, steeling himself for the absurd tale he was about to share.
With a mixture of amusement and embarrassment, Allen began to recount the events that had transpired between him and Azura. He explained how a simple misunderstanding had led Azura to believe that he was a stalker, causing her to react with alarm and suspicion.
As Allen described the comical series of events that had unfolded, Bella and Alice couldn't help but burst into laughter. The image of Allen being mistaken for a stalker was just too absurd to resist, and they found themselves unable to contain their amusement.
Amidst the laughter, Allen couldn't help but join in, the tension of the moment easing as they shared this lighthearted moment together. Despite the embarrassment of the situation, there was a sense of camaraderie in the air.
Once they stepped through the portal into Ront City, Allen, Bella, and Alice quickly activated their disguise skills. With a flicker of their fingers, their appearances shifted. Allen couldn't help but feel a pang of frustration at the thought of returning to Ront City once again.
He knew that going back and forth in the same city wasn't ideal, but with most of the top guild headquarters located there, they had little choice.
Despite his reservations, Allen knew that Ront City provided the best opportunity for their mission. If Elio was online, he would likely convene a meeting at his own headquarters, drawing in members from other large guilds who had heard about the recent events. This would make it easier for Allen and the others to track down their targets and execute their plan.
Once Allen, Bella, and Alice appeared on the gates of Ront City, they were met with a sight that took them by surprise. The city was more crowded than ever, bustling with activity as members of large guilds gathered and mingled with one another. The air was filled with the sound of chatter, and Allen couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer number of people gathered in one place.
They made their way through the crowded streets. Allen quickly notice the shift in conversation among the guild members. Gone were the discussions of Sophia and her annoying drama that had dominated the gaming forums just hours earlier. Now, the talk was centered around the devil emperor's dramatic appearance in Ront City, and the impact it had made on the gaming community.
Bella, Allen and Alice exchanged surprised glances as they listened to the animated discussions around them. They had expected some attention to be drawn to Allen's actions, but they hadn't anticipated the extent of the reaction from the players.
Even Allen, who had been prepared for some level of notoriety, was taken aback by the speed at which the rumors had spread. He couldn't help but marvel at the power of social media and live streaming, realizing that his actions had been broadcast to a much larger audience than he had anticipated.
Allen felt a sense of pride mixed with trepidation. He was pleased that their plan had garnered attention and brought their targets to the forefront.
Bella shot Allen a playful grin, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Seems the impact is bigger than you think," she teased, nudging him gently with her elbow. It was evident from the surprised expression on Allen's face that he hadn't anticipated the extent of his actions' consequences.
Allen chuckled at Bella's remark, a hint of sheepishness creeping into his expression. "I have to admit, yes," he conceded, shaking his head in disbelief. "I didn't expect it to turn out like this."
